Eighth Street Park

Eighth Street Park was inserted into an aging residential neighborhood at the corner of Eighth Street and Chestnut Street. This view looks north from Eighth Street along Chestnut toward Seventh Street.
[+] Playground equipment and open space are available in the park.	[+] The octagonal shelterhouse.	[+] The Seventh Street end of the park and the 7th Street community garden were sold so this substation could be built for a nearby industrial area.
	[+] A couple works their plot in the community garden. (The Canadian National mainline is visible in the background.)	[+] The community garden was reestablished in the remaining park area, south of the substation.
