This site attempts to document every marked historic location in Brown County. If the location is within the modern county boundaries, has a significant history associated with the location, and is marked by some sort of monument, then it should be included here.
There are, of course, a great many historic sites without markers and quite a few historical markers which are not closely tied to a specific location, but those are outside the scope of this project. Some local markers that have historical interest but are not located at historic sites may be found in the pages of the Green Bay area park archive.
