History of Green Bay's Parks

Eastman Park

Starting in 1930 with four tax delinquent lots, this park property was acquired over a period of ten years to include 12 lots, (1-12), Blk. 30.

1952 - A shelter was constructed, and over the years, development and facilities such as volleyball, tennis and basketball courts, a playground program, an ice rink, and softball diamond. Fencing was installed along the railroad track and a gate as a safety precaution.
